Ombre on Asian dyed black hair

I love the ombré look. I love how it is darker at the roots and lighter at the ends. Its a look that i believe is quite natural and not over the top Also, the awesome thing about this technique is that it is possible on any colour of hair and is easy to do yourself on natural or colour-treated hair.

My first Ombré look

I originally had dyed black hair so the first step was bleach! Which turned out orange, uneven and disgusting. (So if you’re attempting the ombré yourself and this is you, don’t be too worried, you can still be saved) After my first bleach application, my hair was still uneven with obvious patches. My ends and roots were extremely light, whereas everywhere else was dark and patchy.

Note that I am not a hair dresser, just don't want to pay over $250 for my hair at the salon!

After couple of months, my hair became an unattractive golden colour. (Maybe because I didn't use the right treatment to help maintain it -___-" ) So I decided to go for a more natural ash look.
